1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PropDROP (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PropDROP.

2. Eligibility

• •You must be at least 18 years of age to use PropDROP
• •You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law
• •You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration
• •One person may not maintain more than one account without prior written consent from PropDROP

3. Use of the Platform

PropDROP is a technology platform that connects tenants with property owners and enables digital tenancy management. We are not a real estate broker, landlord, or party to any rental agreement.

You agree not to:

• •Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information
• •Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• •Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• •Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform without authorisation
• •Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
• •Share your login credentials or allow others to access your account

4. Property Owner Obligations

• •Owners are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their property listings
• •Owners must ensure they have the legal right to list and rent the property
• •All rental agreements and tenancy terms are between the owner and tenant; PropDROP is not a party to these agreements
• •Owners must comply with all applicable local laws regarding renting and tenant rights
• •Owners are responsible for managing maintenance requests and resolving complaints in a timely manner

5. Payments & Rent Receipts

PropDROP facilitates rent payments and generates digital HRA-compliant rent receipts. By using our payment features:

• •You authorise PropDROP to process payments on your behalf via our payment gateway partners
• •Rent receipts generated by PropDROP are for HRA/tax purposes and reflect transactions processed through the Platform
• •Disputes regarding the underlying tenancy (rent amount, security deposit) are between tenant and owner; PropDROP provides mediation support on a best-effort basis
• •Transaction fees, if any, will be disclosed prior to payment
• •All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) in compliance with RBI regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the PropDROP name, logo, design, software, and text — is the exclusive property of PropDROP and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Content you upload (e.g., property photos) remains your property; by uploading it, you grant PropDROP a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• •PropDROP provides the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind
• •We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform
• •We are not responsible for the accuracy of listings, conduct of users, or outcomes of tenancy arrangements
• •Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to PropDROP in the 3 months preceding the claim

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@propdrop.in. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the Platform. Data deletion will follow our Data Retention Policy.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@propdrop.in to attempt resolution.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
